We're a small group but I am happy to see we have not yet gone extinct! So lets not stop here.
To get a little more community activity going, I propose a little bit of a Contest!

It's nothing outlandish and I dont know if in the end it can be considered a contest, but it can atleast get some ideas in heads. Tis only the usual thing you see with small clubs. And that is, decorating our page! There are several areas you can help with -

~ Deviant ID
Not much to say here. I only ask that it not be too wide in its dimensions, to keep it intact on the front page here. I dont know what an appropriate max. width would be though, as I assume it would change a bit depending on the viewers screen resolution.

~ Avatars and Icons
That little box up there that represents our page.. yehp. Make something snazzy for that spot! Keep in mind the requirments for it are that it has to be 50x50 pixels, and in a gif. format, and under 15kb.

Along with an avatar, try to come up with a website button. If you are not familiar with this on DA, it's a small image that sits in the center of the basic info area at the top of the page. the [Email] link sits below it, if present. Although not everyone has a website, some members upload something anyways to fill in the space. [I'll have to research on its max. dimensions, but I beleive it has to be in .gif format as well. Anyone know off-hand?]

Discussion ~ A question from me

It seems peoples attentions have been attracted to the Chozo only more recently with the eye-turning release of Metroid Prime and susequent information on this race. I say this for the most common form of visual fan-arts I am coming across is more or less based on Prime's take on the race. I feel it is self evident for why this would be so.
That observation aside, I ask...
~ What Chozo variant most appeals to you? As with each new game, the Chozo and its artifacts shifted in appearance, from minute to dramatic.
Please share your thoughts!

And where do the Torizo come in? Where do they come from in Super Metroid? Someone educate me!
